The University of São Paulo (USP) will host online the XIX International Triple Helix Conference between 16-18 June 2021 on the theme “Innovation for a Sustainable World: Science and Technology to enhance the world for the future generations” in conjunction with the SciBiz – Science Meet Business Conference.
In a world faced with constant socioenvironmental challenges, combining innovation and sustainability becomes increasingly necessary by conserving the environment, reaching new market opportunities and ensuring the continuity of natural resources for future generations. However, technological advances that bring benefits to the quality of life of societies, also cause impacts on the environment, now unable to produce the natural resources exploited at the same speed as their extraction. The recognition of this challenge has brought new values to society, which demands sustainable market positions and which companies respond by innovating their products and services in more sustainable ways. Governments, companies and universities, the Triple Helix actors, engage in finding solutions through collaboration and innovation to deliver a sustainable world for the current and future generations.

The Scientific and Organising Committee invites participation with academics papers, practitioner cases, positioning panels and roundtable discussions representing research on a related topic to one of our themes.
